Question: There's a guy likes me but i just am not attracted to him. i just want to be friends. My friends think I should go out with him - but I'm not interested. I have a crush on someone else who doesn't like me. I want a bf but can't go out with someone i'm not attracted to! What should i do??? - Meagan
Answers:
Ms. Mystery: Go out with the guy as a friend - not a date. Pay for self to keep it friends. You never know if you might become attracted to him after you get to know him better. One time I went out with a "total geek!" because I was bored. After two or three times hanging out with him as a friend, I was very attracted. We fell in love and dated for 3 years!
Mr. Know: Don't go out with him. If you're not attracted to him, don't waste you time. If you want to be friends with him fine. But don't go out with him if you don't like him. You'd only be leading the guy on and make problems for yourself later.

Question: I just met this girl where I work. I've seen her in the break room and we talk and had sat and had coffee together.
I asked her to dinner and we went out a couple of nights ago. I asked her out for this weekend and she wants to bring a friend with her to meet me. Is that good or bad? How long do I wait to ask her out each time. She is a few years older than me. Should I bring her and her friend flowers on the date? Do you think I should give her a rose? Send her flowers at work? Is it too early? What kind of flowers should I send? Please let me know.
Answers:
Ms. Mystery: Your date asking to bring a female friend could be either good or bad. Was your first date an actual date or just a friendly dinner? Did you pay? Did you kiss her? If so then it was a real date. If it was just 'friends hangin' out' then she want to bring her friend because she thinks her friend will like you. Just keep an open mind and plan only to have a fun night out with two girls. Don't worry too much.
It's a sweet thought to bring flowers. You could bring each girl one flower as a friendly gesture. Any kind of flower that is in season will do. You can send her flowers at work if you are sure your date was romantic - girls always love getting flowers. If it was a romantic date then she may want to bring her friend so her friend can meet you because she wants to show you off. That is a good thing! Sorry to confuse you more but new love is a confusing thing. As far as how long to wait to ask her out. It really doesn't matter if you ask her out at the end of the date or wait two days. Don't wait any longer or she'll think you aren't interested.
Mr. Know: Don't send flowers. Go on the date and if you and the first girl don't work out then hopefully her friend is better looking. And if you're really lucky it might turn into a 'menage a trois'. Just keep your eyes open and be optimistic. As far as how long to wait to ask her out each time - take it one step at a time. Don't count your chickens before they're hatched. Do me a big favor and don't think marriage before you've even gone on the second date.

Question: Please let me know if I'm over reacting here:
My husband and I just bought a car. Our salesperson was a guy's wife he works with. The guys had a business dinner so she invited me out with her and her other girlfriends. These women are married, but acted and dressed like sluts. I was ready to get home so I called my husband. The car sales person was telling her other friend that she talks to MY husband more than her own! She proceeded to pick up her cell phone and called my husband on speaker phone. My husband didn't answer until she called 3 times. Then he told me he had to go. I was annoyed but hung up. This crazy lady had my husband on speaker phone and I had to listen to them flirt! I am so furious - what should I do?
Answers:
Ms. Mystery: Heck no, you aren't over-reacting. You should be furious. This lady was insulting you. She is obviously an attention-monger. You don't need friends like that in your life. Whether you should be furious with your husband or not is another thing. Was he flirting with her or just going along to be nice? Tell him how you feel and that you don't appreciate this woman flirting with him. Ask him if it's true that she talks to him more than her own husband. Although he'll lie about it.
Mr. Know: The process is real simple. Your first question to you husband should be "What the f*** you doing?" He's gonna know what the f*** you're talking about. Tell him that she told you and her friend that she talks to you more than her husband. This is a problem, captain. And say "By the way, I'm not over-reacting and I'm not on my period." Ask him if he's cheated on you. If he hasn't, he's on the road to do so and you guys need to work out whatever differences you have if he's spending more time talking to her than to her own husband.
